Investigation of the influence of the heating device operating conditions on its energy characteristics

This paper investigates a method of accounting thermal energy consumption based on the Newton-Richman equation. A method of measuring the heat transfer coefficient was developed taking into consideration the heating device specific features. A structural scheme, an algorithm and software were developed for the proposed automated accounting system. Experimental investigation of the operating conditions influence on the heating device heat transfer coefficient was carried out. The current system was experimentally examined and proved to be efficient when implemented in an apartment building.
